The heart beat of Paul and Donna is to see God glorified and to continually develop a deeper dependence on God. To this end, they are missionaries with Africa Theological Seminary (ATS), which is a ministry of International Christian Ministries (ICM). Paul and Donna teach, research and write at ATS; Paul in the area of New Testament and theology and Donna in the area of children's ministry.
Prior to serving at ATS, Paul and Donna were missionaries with TWR (formerly Trans World Radio) for 11 years. They served in Swaziland (Southern Africa), Benin (West Africa) and Kenya. They have been married since 1994 and have three children: Nehemiah, Micah Joy and Miriam, who attend Rift Valley Acadamy (a boarding school in Kenya).
During college Paul was deeply moved by a presentation on missions
and since then has been committed to the cause of God being glorified
in the whole world. At a mission’s day camp, God moved in
Donna’s heart to be a missionary to Africa. At the age of
6, Donna announced to her parents that she was going to be a missionary
to Africa and they suggested that she wait a few years.
Paul grew up in Belen, New Mexico. He has a bachelor’s
degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters of Theology degree, is an ordained minister and is working on his PhD in theology. Donna grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She
has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood
and a master’s degree in Multicultural Curriculum Development.
Both Paul and Donna have completed a year of French study.
